Application:
Alarm relies on infrared technology to detect motion. Alarm emits an invisible fan-shaped beam that will cover an area approximately 60° horizontal and 6° vertical. This item can be used as an alarm or a warning device.
Installation:
1) Select proper mounting location based on area to be detected.
2) Slide battery cover off and insert a 9V battery. Ensure that battery contacts are securely snapped onto the battery. The motion sensor has a 20 seconds start-up delay.
3) Position bracket for desired detection area and securely mounted to wall, headboard, or magnetic bracket.
4) This item will only detect motion on the side of bed which is mounted. When mounted vertically at side of bed, projected beam is perpendicular to the floor. When mounted above headboard horizontally, projected beam is parallel to mattress.
5) Perform test after installation to ensure proper function. This item should chime / alarm when motion occurs in the desired detection area.
